The Hosts
Ben and Joanna are the youngest of 5 siblings. They grew up together in a pastor's household in northern Ohio. Their parents exposed them to many different church denominations, and a variety of interesting people who represented The Church in unique and special ways. As they became adults, it wasn't unusual to find them sitting up late into the night talking about all things God, the bible, the church, politics, and cultural issues. Even though Joanna is now in a different country, sharing the conversations of how to stay connected to God, and be The Church in our world, is still very much a part of their lives. Ben and Joanna feel it's important to have the conversations, ask the hard questions, examine your faith, and at the end of it walk away with a deeper connection to the One who breathes life into your soul. We want to help equip you to be able to say to your friends, families, co-workers, and social media worlds:

Ben Church
Husband of Monica. Father to Kariah, Benjamin, and Samuel. Grampa to Olivia, Vivian, and Eliza. Brother to Joanna and 3 other sisters. Living in Northwest Ohio, Ben is a deacon and frequent speaker at The Rock Church of Oregon, Ohio, a suburb of Toledo. Ben graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA from Ashford University and also achieved Certified level ministry credentials from Ohio School of Ministry through the Assembly of God. While working and traveling full time as a manufacturer representative, he still finds time to focus on family, ministry and service. His core belief about the Good News of God is that it works in real-life, and it’s not just for pastors or just during Sunday services. Every person can intimately know God through the person and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. And through that knowledge we are all transformed into His glorious image in our everyday circumstances.
Joanna Church
As a military spouse, Joanna has lived many places. Most currently she resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Joanna is a graduate of TACF School of Ministry and JSMI Bible School. She has been a guest speaker and singer at many different denominations in both the U.S. and Canada. Some of her favorite Christian influences are: A.W. Tozer, Andrew Murray, Watchman Nee, the Christian Mystics, and present day Dr. Jim Richards, Pastor Francis Frangipane, Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore, and Lisa Bevere. She loves feeding the many different wildlife around her home, as well as her son Deon when he stops by for dinner. She has a heart for foster care kids, and adoption, and wants to see the church step up in this area around the world. She believes that there is something beautiful and familial in every denomination and church she has ever visited or ministered at.
